‘Friends First’

So as some of you may seen, this weekend I did a small pre-order for a handful of people. These people were either friends, people who have shown extreme interest in the things that I have been doing with Immunity lately, or just a few randoms. The purpose of this pre-order was to showcase something that I have been thinking about.

A membership club. Now, before you go gettin’ all crazy on me, hear me out! Yes, my shirts are limited in quantities. Yes, I usually do pre-orders before EVERY release. I know and understand both of those things but as I decide to move forward with Immunity I figured somethings had to change.

I will no longer be doing a general public pre-order for any release. I have moved past that and I like the fact that the release gets to be a bit of a surprise. It’s time I begin to take things more seriously and trust me, I have.

There are certain things I’ve wanted to do with Immunity.

1. Create a compilation with my friends bands. DONE - mailing out with the new line, you’re welcome.
2. Hats, Hoodies, V-Necks. Custom shoes, and other custom goodies. DONE!!!!

#2 is where the idea for ‘Friends First’ came up. I have been and probably will be for a while, funding Immunity out of my own pocket. So I can’t always afford to do some of the things I want to. Not anymore. I have a great friend who helps me with my printing who is agreeing to do some SUPER SMALL runs of different items such as Hats, Hoodies (you will see this on Thursday or Friday) amongst other things.

‘Friends First’ is going to have it’s own site and all kinds of Immunity Clothing related perks. Membership is going to be pretty limited. I will be accepting memberships from the first of the month to the seventh of the month, each month. Membership fee is $3 and will include an awesome membership card that will be mailed to you with your own unique membership number. The card will also include your name and the date of membership. The $3 is a ONE TIME FEE and gains you access to the ‘Friends First’ Membership site.

Starting on the second Saturday of every month, and lasting for 8-10 days, you will be able to pre-order an item that not everyone else will have access to. You will recieve the item about 10-14 days after the pre-order has ended.

‘Friends First’ members will also have access to exclusive clearance items, exclusive reprints, and maybe even free gear, I will be doing contests CONSTANTLY! I personally, LOVE getting free stuff!

RE : Warped Tour!
I regret to say that I will not be doing ANY dates on the Vans Warped Tour. Don’t worry, I am working on doing something BIGGER with some awesome friends of mine. You WILL be seeing Immunity Clothing on tour this year!!!

Things To Do This Week :

This may not apply to anyone other than myself, but oh well.

1. New promo pics! The last ones I got were taken over a year ago
2. Finish my interview for a secret site (you’ll see this later)
3. Register the new domain for the…. well, this is also a secret.
4. Finish the artwork for the compilation
5. Work on a shipping schedule
6. Hang tags! One of the things I’m printing can’t have printed tags, so I need some hang tags made!
7. Buy an air mattress. My best friend comes into town on Thursday!
8. (Most Important) FEEL BETTER!!! I really hate being sick!

I am proud to announce that I am 90% sure I will be doing 15 consecutive dates of Warped Tour 2010. I will post the dates at the bottom of this post.

This entire project is going to be self funded. I will be renting a van and traveling the east coast with the Punk Rock circus known as Warped Tour. But.. I need some help!!

I’m not asking for money or anything, well.. not in a sense. I’m looking for a like-minded individual or company who would like to make this adventure with me. If you are interested you will be sharing a Van, a 10x10 booth (so you would get 5x5 feet of the booth), the associated fees with said booth (we each pay half), half of the gas, and half of any other expense that would be required (oil changes, tire blowouts, whatever)

This is going to be a huge ball of fun, however there is great responsibility in running a booth at a large outdoor music festival. While I am far from a pro, I have no problem helping you with your booth and your organization or just covering for you while you have to go potty, or check our a band or two. I have several years experience in selling merch as well as excellent time management skills.

Random

So, I was watching I Love You, Man on my xbox and felt like getting some water and a banana. At this very moment, I feel great. I had such a crazy week. Lots of financial issues, some weird decisions being made with Immunity as far as the new line (collection), my laptop breaking, and other typical mind boggling b.s. that we deal with on the day to day basis of our lives.

In all honesty, I got alot done this week. I finished the cover for the new compilation that will be coming out. I got all the shirt designs ready for print, made decisions on the brand of shirt as well as the tags amongst other things. I went all week without my paycheck, I finally got it yesterday (8 days later might I add,) and figured out a way to get a new laptop.

I’m sitting at my desk looking back on the weeks events and I can honestly say that I am content with everything right now. My mind isn’t racing, I’m listening to the soothing sounds of Explosions In The Sky, and that banana was delicious.

I’m excited to see what next week brings. I know for sure that it can’t be as bad as the week I just had.. even if it wasn’t that bad at all.

More Site Changes!

I got rid of the old store. Now, all you have to do is take a look over there ~~~~~>

Keep an eye on it because every now and then I will throw up some rare / out of stock / awesome Immunity shirts you may not have had a chance to grab, or I may have just found!

So I’m going to go ahead and let the cat out of the bag here and say that I had to drastically reduce the size of the line I was going to be dropping. If you know me personally, you know I am slightly heartbroken about said decision. However, this will allow me to get shirts printed MUCH quicker, and I PROMISE YOU that every shirt will see the light of day.
